Description
After my short stay in the Czech Olomouc, I painted The Roses from the Czech Republic. This beautiful little town has a rose garden with hundreds of roses. I captured one of them in this watercolor painting. The use of watercolors as a medium allowed for delicate petals and translucent leaves. The rose, contrasting with the dark background, comes to the fore, and the dewdrops on the petals add freshness. The picture can be a wedding or birthday gift. It should appeal to all who admire the beauty of flowers, especially rose lovers.
